Frequently asked questions
Understand the product before relying on it.
These answers describe the public preview. Source pages, methodology, terms, and disclaimers provide the complete boundaries.
- Is OptimaYield free?
- Public research is free during the founding year. Commercial workflow, licensed distribution, alerts, private workspaces, and higher-volume exports may become paid products later.
- Which banks are covered?
- The public comparison universe focuses on US institutions with at least $1 billion in reported assets. The current institution count and reporting quarter appear on every page; source-specific coverage is disclosed in the data catalog.
- Is this the same as a regulatory rating?
- No. Screens, peer percentiles, and intelligence hypotheses are research aids—not CAMELS ratings, supervisory conclusions, credit ratings, or investment recommendations.
- Why is a value unavailable?
- The source may not report it, the applicable schedule may differ, an identity link may be unreviewed, or a publication gate may have failed. OptimaYield does not replace missing data with zero.
- How current is the data?
- Regulatory sources publish on different schedules. Pages show the reporting period and source; the data catalog shows retrieval and coverage details.
- Can I correct a bank record?
- Yes. Use the corrections page and include the institution identifier, period, disputed field, and supporting official evidence.
