Data we process

Public pages may process IP address, request time, requested path, response status, latency, user agent, and a random request identifier for security and reliability. We do not sell personal information or use targeted advertising.

Aggregate product analytics

OptimaYield records daily aggregate counts and anonymous device-segmented performance histograms for search success or empty results, profile views, completed compare or screen states, official-source links, client errors, and page performance. This first-party measurement does not set analytics cookies or store raw searches, institution-level browsing history, advertising identifiers, or cross-site behavior.

External analytics

External analytics are disabled until you explicitly enable them. They run only on allowlisted public research pages; private workspaces, sign-in, and private downloads are excluded. Query strings and account-level identifiers are not sent. Google Analytics may process generalized public route names, device and browser information, interaction events, approximate geography, performance information, and analytics identifiers under the property's configured data-collection settings. OptimaYield does not send account-level user IDs to Google Analytics, use analytics for targeted advertising, or sell browsing data.

Corrections and feedback

Structured corrections collect the supplied institution, disputed page/value, evidence, name, email, and relationship so the request can be investigated and audited. General feedback may include a route, screenshot URL, and optional reply email. Public correction status never exposes submitter contact details or private reviewer notes.

Billing records and processor

If you choose paid access or an agreed invoice, OptimaYield stores the workspace or order ID, agreed amount, plan, billing status, provider references, and relevant timestamps for reconciliation and support. Stripe processes payment methods and hosted checkout or invoice pages; card numbers are not sent to OptimaYield. Account and order contact details are used for billing and fulfillment, not public research rankings or advertising. Payment and agreement records may be retained for accounting and dispute obligations.

Retention and providers

Application and security logs are retained for 30 days; documented incidents may be retained for up to one year. Correction audit records are retained while the affected data remains published. Vercel and Neon process infrastructure data on OptimaYield's behalf. Stripe processes payment information if payments are activated. Analytics providers named in the analytics preferences dialog apply their published retention and privacy terms while analytics are enabled.
