It is the same underlying data and definitions used on every individual bank profile, rolled up rather than looked at one institution at a time.
Population: every bank in OptimaYield's published coverage universe for the current period, covering the full FDIC-insured system (see the coverage contract).
Totals: assets, deposits and loans are summed directly across the population — no estimation or extrapolation to the full FDIC-insured system.
Medians: each ratio strip value is the median across banks reporting that field for the period; a bank missing a given ratio is excluded from that ratio's median, not treated as zero.
